2024 영산홍챌린지 학생부 은상을 수상한 유캔댄스의 작품입니다.

유캔댄스의 지도자인 조주란 선생님은 학생들이 영산홍챌린지를 통해 강릉시민으로서의 자부심을 느끼기를 바라는 마음으로, 2년 연속 챌린지에 참여해 주고 계십니다.

이번 무대는 유네스코 인류무형문화유산이자 천년의 전통을 지닌 강릉단오제의 민속놀이를 표현한 작품으로,
글로벌 시대의 흐름을 반영해 동서양의 의상을 조화롭게 담아낸 것이 특징입니다.

또한 단오의 의미를 살려 노동 이후 흥겨운 노래와 춤으로 피로를 풀고 풍년을 기원하는 장면까지 함께 녹여냈습니다.

This is a performance by You Can Dance, winner of the Silver Prize in the Student Division of the 2024 Yeongsanhong Challenge. The instructor, Ms. Jo Joo-ran, has participated in the challenge for two consecutive years with the hope that students can develop a sense of pride as citizens of Gangneung through the Yeongsanhong Challenge.

This performance expresses the folk games of the Gangneung Danoje Festival, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity with a thousand-year tradition, and features a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western costumes reflecting today’s global era.

It also captures the spirit of Dano by portraying scenes where people relieve fatigue through joyful songs and dances after labor, while praying for a good harvest. Enjoy the performance now.
