To mark the 20th anniversary of its inscription as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, we are pleased to present the promotional video for the 2025 Gangneung Danoje Festival.

The theme of the 2025 Gangneung Danoje Festival is “Twenty, Dano.”
This theme commemorates the 20th anniversary of Gangneung Danoje’s UNESCO designation, while also drawing inspiration from the symbolic meaning of being twenty years old.

Like a twenty-year-old unafraid of change, it reflects the will to keep moving forward without settling for the present,
and like a young adult taking its first step into the world, it expresses the aspiration to grow stronger and prepare for the next thousand years.

We kindly ask for your continued interest and participation in the 2025 Gangneung Danoje Festival.
