천년의 역사를 이어온 대한민국 대표 축제, 유네스코 인류무형문화유산 강릉단오제는 제의와 굿, 국가무형유산 공연을 비롯해 단오체험, 전국 최대 규모의 난장까지 다채로운 프로그램으로 운영되며 2025년 기준 약 95만 명의 방문객이 찾았습니다.

2026 강릉단오제의 주제는 ‘풀리니, 단오다.’입니다.
굿판에서 한을 풀고, 창포물로 액을 씻어내며 일상의 근심과 액운을 내려놓는 순간, 마음과 관계가 자연스럽게 풀리는 시간

그 시간이 바로 단오라는 그 의미를 담고 있습니다.

올해는 13개 분야 71개 프로그램이 더욱 풍성하게 펼쳐집니다. 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.

2026 Gangneung Danoje Festival Promotional Video.

The Gangneung Danoje Festival, a representative festival of Korea with a thousand-year history and designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, offers a wide range of programs including ritual ceremonies, shamanistic gut performances, national intangible cultural heritage performances, hands-on Dano experiences, and the nation’s largest traditional marketplace. In 2025, it welcomed approximately 950,000 visitors.

The theme of the 2026 Gangneung Danoje Festival is “Pullyni, Dano.”
It expresses the meaning of releasing han (deep-rooted sorrow) in ritual spaces, cleansing misfortune with changpo water, and letting go of daily worries and negative energy—moments in which the mind and relationships naturally open and unwind.

This year, the festival presents a richer program of 71 events across 13 fields. We kindly ask for your great interest and participation.
